  1. It’s quite foursquare, with strong horizontals and less pronounced verticals, but variety is created not only by different windows and surface detailing but also by the inclusion of sets of three windows in the middle section of the left faรงade where the right has all the windows equidistant. Almost too much detail to take in, but endlessly interesting. Thanks for this, Julie!

    • I didn’t want to mention it being a bit garish or over the top as not to offend my french friends ๐Ÿ˜‰
I so appreciate your knowledgable and trained eye to be sure!! ๐Ÿ™‚

      • Oh, I wouldn’t say that — I just blather on giving the impression that I know what I’m talking about — but the ephemeral nature of the internet often means we don’t look as long and as closely at pictures as we could. And I think we should, and articulate what we see!

      • I couldn’t agree more and sincerely do appreciate your observations and “blathering” as I learn from it all and I think to always continue the learning process to be imperative in life.
Also makes me miss my years of art history ๐Ÿ™‚
